Mayka - A Place Called Home

No woman or child should have to choose between abuse and homelessness.

Mayka provides emergency interim shelter and compassionate support for women and families experiencing domestic violence, housing instability, or unexpected crises. Working alongside referral partners including YMCA, CARE Teams, Police Departments, the Consulate General of India, Seattle, and other community organizations, we help families transition from crisis to stability.

Beyond temporary shelter, we help create a true home by providing furniture, household essentials, clothing, children's items, and connections to mental health and community resources.

De'haat - Rural Women, Global Impact

Traditional skills deserve global recognition.

Through De'haat, AmPowering partners with rural women artisans to preserve traditional craftsmanship while creating sustainable income opportunities.

We purchase handcrafted products at fair prices, showcase them through exhibitions and North America Fashion Week, and connect artisans with new markets.

Every purchase helps women:
