Business Development Manager

Full-Time Position

AmPowering is an organization with deep roots embedded in community-focused causes and projects. We are passionate about education, advocacy, women empowerment and creating a safe environment to enable growth as community servants.

The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for supporting a strategic plan to raise vital funds for the organization. The Manager supports the work of the CEO, especially in communication, community relations, events, data management, and various organizational and reporting responsibilities.

$35,000/year
30 hrs/week
Mostly Remote (Seattle area)
Bachelor's Preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO in the execution of the annual fundraising plan
  • Support CEO relationships with prospects and donors — cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
  • Assist with communication with trustees, donors, and the larger community
  • Create written materials — correspondence, proposals, solicitations, acknowledgements, digital media
  • Manage the AmPowering website and social media channels
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, artists, and technicians for compelling communications
  • Manage collateral documents, photos, videos for communications
  • Document donor engagement and interactions
  • Support development of programming, staffing, and facilitation of events
  • Organize data and records to prepare reports as requested

  • Familiarity with database management
  • Proven performance in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic graphic design and video abilities are a plus
