In our busy life, we are surrounded by so much outer noise, then sometimes we even forget to listen to our own inner self and that creates imbalance of our mind, heart & soul. That is why for stronger mental health, meditation is best remedy and prescribed by all doctors, therapists and counsellors.
Meditation is a natural state of the human mind. It is the art of being still and silent. It is the journey of going from movement and activity to silence and stillness. In today’s world where you are continuously surrounded by noise, mass consciousness, technology etc. listening to your inner voice is not easy. Meditation helps in listening to this inner voice by bringing alignment and balance in your mind, body, and soul.
According to countless theories of medical science, stress is a weapon of mass destruction and a “silent killer.” Most of your thoughts are fear based either due to clinging on your past experiences or due to the need of controlling your future outcomes, forcing you to live in the fight or flight mode and thus making stress the most important parts of your lives. You although are familiar with the term “Being Present” but are so busy in living these repetitive fear-based thoughts of the past and of the future that you completely forget to live in the present moment.
